He hears me, the seed was planted long ago...
I Know that He Can Hear Me
YOU... are not forgotten.
You have not been overlooked.
You have not been passed by, around or pushed aside.
You may be dizzy and weak, but I am with you.
Did you hear me? -- I am ALWAYS with you!
YOUR... needs are on My mind.
Your desires are a sweet song to My ears.
Your every dream flows from seeds I planted Myself.
Seeds I planted long, long ago.
Trust Me.
Look to Me. Seek Me.
Don't take your eyes off of Me.
SEE...
I have placed you on the right path!
I have set your pace!
I have cleared the way!
I have plans for you... You know I do.
My fingerprints are everywhere... I know you've seen 'em.
I am working all things for YOUR good.... I am!
Trust Me with your whole heart
In your weakness, I am strong
Trust Me.
Seek Me.
I am with you... I AM

Caring Bridge

Since we are new to Caring Bridge... here is the lastest update to LB's journey with CP.
LB is starting Early Childhood Active Learning School in two weeks! I can hardly believe that she is going to be 3 this soon. It seems like yesterday the CPS caseworker was dropping her off and how tiny she was back then. Fortunately, she has been very healthy lately with no real hospital stays to mention. A couple of high fevers and viruses have landed us an overnight stay at the luxurious Children's Hospital of Dallas.
We are scheduled for PERCS surgery in Galveston UTMB Southwestern this Friday. I will be driving down with the Drama Queen early Thursday morning (3AM) to make our 11AM evaluation appt. From there we are scheduled for surgery on Friday and then if all goes well we can come home on Saturday. Luke and Daddy will stay home and guard the house since our Labrador Nikki doesn't do that too well. Here is the website to read about the actual PERCS proceedure. http://www.utmb.edu/ortho/clinical/faculty/percs_faq.htm
Our hopes are that she will be able to use her right leg more to aid her in walking. By the way, we finally got approved through Medicaid for a Gait Trainer called the KID Walk! It is Raspberry Pink of course and custom to fit LB specifically. After the surgery LB will be in leg casts (pink) I am sure, for 4-6 weeks. So, we are looking forward to a Summer full of Luke dragging LB in her Kid Walk while she tries her darndess to left, right, left, right behind him... :)
I don't question that the Lord sent this child to me for a reason. I know that she will do just fine in the surgery and have no real medical fears for what is coming our way this week. I DO however fear her dramatic attitude in a long car ride with no Elmo playing for 6 hours. God be with Mommy to endure the screaming!
Tuesday, we meet her new CPS caseworker and Wednesday her wonderful Nurse, Kathy will pack up all her things and then we leave! Will keep everyone updated and keep pictures coming. Pray for our safe drive to Galveston and for a very easy surgery with little to no pain.
